This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

At Ignite, we provide allied health support that fits into everyday routines, not the other way around.
We work with people across Melbourne, meeting them at home, in the community, or at our local hubs, depending on what makes sense for them.

Whether you’re navigating the NDIS, using other funding, or paying privately, our role is the same: providing practical, person-centred support that helps people live the life they want.

The services we offer at Ignite

From first words to new milestones, and all the moments in between, we’re here.

At Ignite, allied health is built around real life. We meet people where they are, with support that’s practical, flexible, and shaped around individual goals and everyday routines.

Physiotherapy

Improving movement, strength, and mobility, with a focus on staying active, managing pain, and moving with confidence in everyday life.

Occupational Therapy

Helping people navigate daily life, from routines and self-care to emotional regulation, sensory needs, and meaningful participation at home, school, work, and in the community.

Speech Pathology

Building communication, connection, and confidence; including speech, language, social interaction, and mealtime safety across the lifespan.

Positive Behaviour Support

Understanding the why behind behaviour and creating practical, person-centred strategies that improve quality of life and reduce the need for restrictive practices.

Allied Health Assistance

Delivering hands-on, goal-focused sessions under clinician guidance, helping people practise skills, build confidence, and make progress between appointments.

Funding options

There are different ways support can be funded, and different organisations involved. Understanding these options can make it easier to get started.

NDIS

We support people accessing the NDIS across a wide range of goals and needs.

Our team works with:

  • Self-managed
  • Plan-managed
  • NDIA-managed participants

Supports are delivered in line with your plan goals and everyday priorities; whether that’s building independence, communication, mobility, emotional regulation, or participation in the community.

If you’re new to the NDIS (or feeling overwhelmed by it), you don’t need to have everything figured out. We’ll help you understand what supports may be appropriate and how they fit within your plan.

Learn more about the different types of NDIS plan funding managements here.

We provide allied health services for older Australians accessing Support at Home funding.

This may include support focused on:

  • Maintaining independence
  • Staying active and mobile
  • Continuing to engage in everyday and community activities

Our approach is practical, respectful, and centred on what matters to each person, not just what’s written on paper.

Private services are available for individuals or families who are:

  • Not eligible for government funding
  • Waiting for funding approval
  • Choosing to access support privately

Private funding offers flexibility in how and when support is delivered, with the same values-led approach as all Ignite services.

We also work with a range of alternative or mixed funding options, including:

  • Insurance-based funding
  • Programs or arrangements outside the NDIS

If your situation doesn’t fit neatly into a category, that’s okay. We’re happy to talk it through and explore what support might look like.

Where we provide support

Support looks different for everyone, so we work in the places that make the most sense for each person and their goals.

That might be:

  • At home, where everyday routines happen
  • In the community, building confidence in real-world settings
  • At school, kinder, or work, when goals relate to learning or participation
  • At one of our Ignite hubs, for structured or clinic-based sessions
  • Via telehealth, when remote or flexible support is the best fit

We currently provide in-person support across Melbourne, with local hubs to help us stay connected to the communities we work in.
