What physiotherapy supervision looks like at Ignite Healthcare
As a Physiotherapy supervisor at Ignite Healthcare, you’ll carry your own caseload alongside your supervision responsibilities. Our participants span a genuinely broad range, neurological, musculoskeletal, paediatrics, aged care and assistive technology, and we always aim to match the most appropriate participants and supervisees to each clinician, so your caseload reflects your strengths and interests rather than just whatever needs filling.
Your supervisees, whether newer to community practice or more experienced clinicians seeking ongoing support, will come to you with clinical questions, case discussions and professional growth conversations.
The non-clinical day-to-day is handled by our business support team, allied health team manager and wider management, so your time together stays focused on what actually matters.
You’ll hold regular scheduled 1:1s with your supervisees, with your approach tailored to where each person is at. Office, café or online – you and your supervisee work that out together. And when impromptu clinical questions come up between sessions, you’re there for those too. Supervisee numbers are flexible, starting from one and growing based on what works for you.
You won’t be doing it alone either. You’ll have your own supervisor and our internal Clinical Excellence Lead there to support and guide you, so there’s always someone genuinely in your corner.

Who we're looking for
Physiotherapy supervisor jobs at Ignite Healthcare are for clinicians who find meaning in supporting and developing other clinicians, whether that’s something you’re already doing or a direction you’re genuinely drawn toward.
We’re looking for AHPRA registered Physiotherapists with clinical experience in disability and community settings, ideally with exposure to NDIS or aged care.
A current driver’s licence, Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check are required across all our roles.
But more than anything, we’re looking for people who are curious, honest and willing to give things a go. People who ask questions, reflect on their practice, and care deeply about the people they work with – supervisees and clients alike.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. Just a genuine interest in learning, growing and doing the work thoughtfully.
Experience matters, but attitude matters more.

Your supervision sessions are scheduled and structured, and impromptu clinical questions from supervisees are part of the role too.
If juggling both ever feels overwhelming, your allied health team manager is there to help you work through scheduling, and our business support team takes care of the everyday admin so you can stay focused on the clinical work.

You’ll have your own supervisor, access to our internal Clinical Excellence Lead, and a business support team, allied health team manager and wider management handling all the non-clinical day-to-day, so you can stay focused on the clinical work
You’ll have your own client appointments across a varied physiotherapy caseload, scheduled 1:1 supervision sessions with your supervisees, and the occasional impromptu clinical question in between. How and where you run your supervision sessions is up to you and your supervisee, office, café or online, whatever works best.
For Physiotherapy roles at Ignite Healthcare you’ll need to be AHPRA registered, along with a current Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check, and drivers license (this is a part of our standard requirements across all of our clinical roles).
Beyond that, we’re more interested in your clinical experience, your approach and your genuine interest in supporting other clinicians.
