How we work

For young children, we use play-based therapy to develop skills and reach goals. We create an enjoyable environment during therapy by using toys and games; to teach and develop crucial skills for later life.

Our NDIS paediatric occupational therapists also provide support and information to parents so they can continue to address and overcome barriers at home.

Occupational therapy for adolescents often involves developing life skills such as financial management, cooking, cleaning and maintaining a routine – to increase independence and confidence during their transition to young adulthood.

Our NDIS occupational therapists will perform relevant assessments, identify appropriate assistive technology needs, and provide caregiver training and fittings of assistive equipment. They will also suggest specialised programs, and offer education and training based on the specific needs of your child or adolescent.

NDIS end-of-plan reviews are priority booked and delivered ready for your child’s scheduled plan review.

A focused program targeting the development of your child’s gross and fine motor skills.
