Ignite began because the system wasn’t working the way it should have.

Before Ignite, there was Alice, born with cerebral palsy, in a system where families had to fight hard just to access support. Through her, her uncle, and Ignite’s founder David saw the gaps clearly: people falling through them, and clinicians stretched trying to fill them.

So after studying physiotherapy and working in the field for several years, in, 2018, he built something different.

About the role

Due to our exciting growth, we are looking for multiple Senior Occupational Therapy Clinical Supervisors for our Mount Waverly site to provide supervision for clinicians new to or early in their Allied Health community practice.

As a clinical supervisor, you have a crucial role in supporting quality and continuous care and building the confidence and skills of new graduates, early career and new-to-community clinicians.

Responsibilities

Support Occupational Therapy students on clinical placement with Ignite Healthcare
Provide clinical supervision to New Graduate Clinicians and/or Early Career Clinicians and/or Clinicians New to Community Practice from the Occupational Therapy discipline
Achieve individual key performance indicators

What we're looking for

Proven experience of at least 3 years in your role
A Tertiary education in Occupational Therapy
Registered with AHPRA
Clinical experience of working in the disability sector (NDIS, My Aged Care – Home Care Package)
Worked preferably in an interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary allied health environment
Excellent written, verbal, and computer literacy skills
Current driver’s license.
