Job Description

Due to our exciting growth, we are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team – this could be a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in a dynamic and varied community setting with plenty of chances for career development!

As community Occupational Therapist, you will provide treatment to disabled, paediatric and elderly clients in their own environments.

You will work closely alongside a team of experienced Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists using a multi-disciplinary approach to care. You will be comfortable to work autonomously and manage your own flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of clients living in their own homes;
  • Maximise client functional capacity and evaluate their options for ongoing care as required;
  • Develop high quality and evidence-based treatment plans;
  • Complete progress notes and requested reports in a timely manner.

Job Requirement

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA Membership;
  • Experience in Occupational Therapy is preferred but not mandatory;
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously;
  • Sincere passion for helping a diverse range of clients;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Superior customer service skills and ability to establish genuine rapport with clients;
  • Unrestricted current driver’s license.
